The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) is an association of electric energy solutions providers and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean region, Central and South Americas and Globally.   CMC conducted the CARILEC media campaign to raise awareness and build capacity for Energy Efficiency (EE) in Six Caribbean Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT). Our communication goal is to engage a broad audience, emphasizing the importance of renewable energy in households by adopting available energy-saving solutions. It is anticipated that in the longer term, the campaign would contribute to the collective expedition of energy transition toward low-carbon technologies while prioritizing safety and sustainability by CARILEC and the relevant stakeholders.  This communication collaboration serves to expand electric utility advocacy, growth, and sustainability within the region and expand the secretariat’s capacity to champion the collective interests and long-term success of electric utilities.
